Georgia DNR Video Boat Rental Rules
Anyone in Georgia who is renting a boat or personal watercraft is required to watch this video unless you have completed a DNR-approved boater education course or you are a legally licensed boat captain with the US Coast Guard. Anyone born after January 1, 1998 is required to complete a boater education course approved by the department before operating any vessel.
Boat Rental Rules
Renters must adhere to the following:
- All drivers must be at least 21 years of age with boating experience
- Complete required rental agreement and waivers
- Obey all GA boating laws & safety regulations
- Watch DNR Safety Video
- Refill gas at Anchorage Boat Dock
- No Smoking
- No Pets
